Australia has become a world leader in this industry. Only second behind the US for horse population numbers, we have more racecourses than any other country in the world, and over 100,000 owners invested in racehorses. We breed and nurture champion athletes who compete and dominate not only here, but on the world stage.
It is said Australia was built on the back of a horse. This still rings true for the racing and breeding industry, which is abundant with opportunity. For over 200 years, participants have worked hard to continually build and evolve, proving the industry as a sustainable career choice. From working hands-on with the beautiful and majestic horses at various stages of their lives, to meeting great people and travelling the world, there is sure to be a role that suits you.
You may love the idea of working outdoors on a farm, alongside mares and their foals, or as a rider or educator of young yearlings. You may wish to become a vet, an equine nurse, a dentist or chiropractor. Perhaps accounting office administration or marketing is more your style.
Not only do our participants pride themselves on their experience and professionalism, but first and foremost is their utmost respect, appreciation and attention to the welfare of their animals.
Our world-class facilities are designed to safeguard breeding stock from
the moment of their arrival, including foaling down, handling, training and
transportation.
In addition, our professional on-site staff are equipped to Intervene immediately during any emergency event, with two large equine hospitals within close proximity.
Our clients and partners receive regular reports and photos of their breeding stock. Using our advanced monitoring technology, owners receive access to live webcam feeds to monitor their horses in real time 24/7.
We welcome you on your journey to your new career!
